Jaro Carmel celebrated its 75th Foundation Anniversary on November 9, 1998. It was attended by the Carmelite friars, nuns and the tertiaries. Father Maccise, OCD, Father General at that time, graced the celebration with his presence. The highlight of the anniversary was the tree planting headed by the Father General himself.
